WPC's Scott O'Gallagher Surpasses 2,000 Career-Point Milestone in Win

PORTLAND, Ore. -- Warner Pacific's Scott O'Gallagher surpassed the 2,000 career point mark tonight in the Knights' semifinal victory over the nationally-ranked No. 5 Eastern Oregon University. O'Gallagher tallied 20 points to bring his career total to 2,015.

In just three seasons as a Knight, O'Gallagher has put together a tremendous career.  He has led the Cascade Conference in scoring the past two seasons, and currently is tops in the CCC this year with an average of 23.5 points per game.

As a junior, he was selected as the CCC Player of the Year and as an NAIA first team All-American.  In addition, he was selected as the 2006-07 Oregon Small College Athlete of the Year, a very distinct and prestigious honor.

A deadly free throw shooter, O'Gallagher now holds three all-time free throw records at WPC. He has made the most free throws in a career (638) and season (288) in addition to setting a school mark for consecutive free throws made (39).   

He is also in the school's top 10 in three other categories.  He currently ranks No. 3 in career scoring, eighth in career assists (341) and eighth in career steals (137).  In his three seasons as a Knight, O'Gallagher has made 632-of-1220 field goal attempts, a percentage of .518.
